Praise from readers:
"The Uncharted Journey is an astonishingly candid report from the front lines of what feels like a inner battle that I instantly recognized as my own. That is, the conflict between how I say I want to change my attitudes and behavior, and why I continue to persist in those unproductive ways of being. Don is a master of the confrontation with the ego. Right away, I began underlining passages to go back to, but quickly gave up, as almost every sentence was underlined.
"Don does not start with a philosophy, or present some new belief system, other than skepticism about what his own inner dialog insists is true. Don shares his own insights from his own life. These are battles hard fought by someone who has spend many years relentlessly examining himself.
"...I am convinced this book will endure as a classic for those who are compelled to do the difficult inner work Don describes. I have purchased about a dozen copies for friends and family.
"If you ever get a chance to sit at the feet of this master, do it. I cannot recommend The Uncharted Journey highly enough. If you are ready."

The Uncharted Journey
The Uncharted Journey is a fresh look at an ancient topic of highest current relevance: is it possible to change the basic way we feel? Is our experience of life the product of what happens to us, or does it arise instead from what our mind does with it? If the latter, exactly how does our heavily conditioned mind determine the way we feel? Is it possible to free ourselves, to go beyond the need for people and events to be a certain way for our happiness and feeling of security? Is it possible to find love where love seems not to be?
The book is a journal of far-reaching personal exploration, written by a man who has been on the journey of self-knowledge for over four decades, and has been in a successful intimate partnership for almost that long. Although it is presented simply and without jargon, it points to the deepest recesses of our being. No spiritual or psychological authority is accepted, although wisdom from spirituality and psychology is held to the light. The readers are guided to look freshly at their own experience, and to bring "divine skepticism" to the mind's usual conclusions. Both the domain of silent inner looking, and the world of intimate relationship, are examined in depth. A major theme is opening the closed heart, towards oneself and towards others. The book may be of special interest to those who have enjoyed the works of Eckart Tolle, (The Power of Now) since, with a similar spirit, it fills in quite a few areas not covered by Mr. Tolle.
